Department of Leisure Management

In meeting the long-term developmental needs of Taiwan’s national and local leisure and recreation industry, this department aims to educate and foster professional talent for the development, operation, and management of this progressive domain. Major goals include developing in students a service-oriented spirit, professional competencies, a drive for life-long learning, and a career prospect boosted by a relentless pursuit for innovation and continuous progress

Instruction is more practice-oriented, assisted by relevant theoretical constructs and applications. The curriculum includes Leisure & Tourism Theory, Hotel Management, Creative, Marketing of Leisure and Recreation, general management, and other related courses.

Our fulltime faculty members each possess a doctoral degree in addition to years of practical experience, which is a unique competitive edge in local higher education.
